Announcing the Launch of a New D&D Web Site!
Welcome to HouseRules4DND, a site where you can find experimental ideas and house rules for 4e Dungeons & Dragons, as well as 5Next D&D once it comes out. I am proud to announce that we have a lot of interesting ideas coming and gaming resources for your campaign. We have adventures and story hooks you can insert into your game, as well as skill challenges and encounters, all of which can quickly and easily be inserted and played. We also have a tab devoted entirely to house rules and experiments where you can find ideas to alter your Dungeons & Dragons campaign in a way to give it a different feel or liven it up without adding too much complexity or unbalancing the existing system. It is also here that we will explain what we were attempting and why, and what we learned from it.
I love D&D, and I play it every week with my 10-year-old son, Thaseus. I'm very proud of him. He currently tests at a 9th-grade level in all areas education, even though he's only in the 4th grade. I attribute much of that success to his love for D&D, which, I'd like to mention, is a great way to encourage children to read and use mathematical skills and write creatively and spur their imagination. He, too, will be contributing to the site (see his post under "Riddles & Puzzles," below). So parents take note of this: you can do no better than to get your children involved in D&D!
